Live Tv guide details - question/ feature request.

Will the live tv guide at some point have the additional details such as HD, Live, New, Repeat and show if a program has been set to record?

The example given here is from Windows but it's also on android and Roku etc. Currently on apple tv the guide does not show them.

Hi, it pretty much already does, no? Other than video detail screens of course.

Missing

- Video description

- Scrolling and seeing on now area doesn’t match

- no video thumbnails when scrubbing videos

- no live tv overlay guide while watching tv

Any update on this? It is 2025 and I till only see the show name in live TV guide on Apple TV.  The EMBY app, when looking at the TV guide that is pulling OTA Emby guide data, does not show "New," "Live," "Repeat," "HD," or red circles indicating it is set to record.

Hi, how does it compare to what you see in the Emby web app?

The first picture of the guide is from Apple TV 4k.

There are no indicators i.e. new/ repeat/ live/ hd etc and nothing to indicate a series or single recording timer has been set.

App Version 2.0.1 (7)

The second is from Android Version 2.1.23g which does have all the indicators.

It would be great to see these on the Apple TV Version of the app as well!

Luke, the web app shows all the details I find missing in the appletv app.  
 

danarm, I have the same missing indicators you do in Apple TV as well.  Hopefully an update can be done.

Thanks for everything you do and please don't take this the wrong way, just that I can't help but get the impression that you/ the dev team don't have access to the app via an Apple Tv device.

I asked this question on the Tv guide over 2 years ago and we are no further forward.

Can we help out here - would it make a difference in helping expedite any issues the Apple Tv users have if we somehow provided a device? 

I'm probably going to upgrade when the new device is released and could donate my current one.
