Hi!

I've been using Emby since 2019 but recently seriously ramped up my usage in both adding and watching media. However, it has randomly started stopped adding media seemingly at will. Can you help me?

Yes, I added some movies and tv shows at the same time and some of them registered but others didnt ( meg 2 and metalocalypse were added, only metalocalypse is there) and some movies and tv shows have simply vanishes!

How are your files named and organized?

series are all together, some are even their own separate folders and given their own separate library. naming conventions get a bit screwy but everything else is where and how it should be I would think. Sorry for slow response, been a busy day!

And the all-important file names as well?

They all matter, both for diagnosis and correct functioning.  For instance, you may have movies or episodes named in such a way that Emby sees them as alternative versions of the same files, so combines them in a drop down - if you don't notice that happen, you might think Emby hasn't processed the file at all, when actually it has but hasn't been able to do what you expect because it didn't understand the name correctly.
