bronxboys97 0 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Emby no longer connecting remotely I don’t know what happened it’s no longer showing up in port forwarding and it’s driving me crazy.. please help..
pwhodges 2012 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 What do you mean by "it's no longer showing up in port forwarding"? Port forwarding is either set up manually, by you, or it's set up automatically by Emby using the uPNP facility. This can be disabled either in the router or in Emby - disabling it in the router I would advise, because uPMP can be a security risk, but then you need to set it up manually. If you are relying on automatic operation, and that has now failed, maybe something else in the networking has changed. A common one is that after upgrading to Windows 11, the networking is changed from private to public - which introduces extra restrictions. So, as things don't generally change on their own, can you think of any change you've made that might bear on this? Paul

Luke 42083 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Were you able to resolve it? Did you add back the port forwarding entry?
