No internet - horrible Emby experience

Was without internet all last night.

Trying to use Emby over local wifi on my Nvidia Shield proved impossible. Refused to connect to the server.

A little better luck using Apple TV. It could find the server and play a show but every show would stop about 10-15 minutes in and the it would stop and the "next episode screen would come up.

Any ideas how to make this work better the next time Internet is unavailable ( Comcast )?

HI, maybe you had configured the shield app to connect with your remote ip? That could have caused this. I bet if you attempted a manual connection by server ip address it would have worked.

Any clue looking at the logs why it was only playing the first 10 minutes of a show then moving onto the next one @Luke?

Can you please provide a specific example? But first, please update to Emby for Apple TV 1.7.7 and see how that compares. Thanks.
