"Download Images In Advance" with sideloaded images

Can anyone explain what this option does, and if it has any benefit if images are sideloaded with the media? If so, will it still download the images locally to the server and use them vs going out to the storage to pull sideloaded images when browsing in the clients?

HI, it's in relation to downloaded images from the internet. Did you read the help text next to the option?

I did yes, but I wasn't sure if this option would also download side loaded images into the local config metadata or not for faster loading of home screens.
