Uninstall Emby Server

Hi,

I'm trying to uninstall EMBY SERVER but without success. Anyone can give me a help?

1. Uninstall using "programs and features" is impossible because the app doesn't exist in this screen (see attached screen shot).

2. If I try to use "MediaBrowser.Uninstaller.exe", when I execute it it says: please use programs and features to uninstall... (attached screen shot)

So, no way to do the uninstalling.

You're likely running portable instance, there's nothing to uninstall, just delete complete Emby-Server folder.

Hi GrimReaper,

Before come here I saw the same recommendation like yours.

But my concern is about a trigger that EMBY introduced in my PC power on procedure that opens in my Google Chrome a splash screen (see attached file).

Ok, I can remove the folder but I also want to remove this splash screen trigger (I don't know where it is).

I believe if I don't remove it I may have endless "ERROR TRYING TO OPEN EMBY SCREEN...." when I power on my computer later.

Any suggestion?

You likely have both of these options enabled on your server:

You can disable those>Save to bring you some peace of mind.
