Unable to get Metadata on new movies

When adding new movies to Library it does not pull Metadata. Can obtain metadata by manually identifying movie . Started a few months back, has worked since 2012 without issues. No VPN, just antivirus{TrendMicro)

What metadata fetchers are enabled on the library, and in what order?

When you add a new movie it does not pull any Metadata and names it the filename and adds a thumbnail of the movie

Hi there, what example are we looking at in the log file that you provided? What movie did you add during that time?

From the logs, it looks like the year is not being parsed correctly because it's not in brackets like Confidential Informant 2023 instead of Confidential Informant (2023).

So what changed recently that no longer allows it to work as before?

Nothing changed, but I think if you put the year in parentheses it would work. We'll take a look at this example and see if any adjustments need to be made. Thanks.

Sometimes what changes is not Emby but (a) the web site's algorithm for ordering results, or (b) the addition to the web site of a similarly named item which also upsets the results presented.  Using naming which follows the guidelines will help reduce these issues (though cannot eliminate them 100% unless you add the database ID to the names).
