IMDB not listed in Metadata Downloaders

Is IMDB a dedicated, scraped source?

If so, why does it not appear in my Downloader list so that I can place it above the rest?

I have been having trouble with "sort by IMDB rating" because TMDB keeps placing its rating in IMDBs spot. As TMDB is underutilized, especially with obscure titles, its ratings are greatly skewed. See example.

It is not, cost-prohibitive.

Read above.

@Luke, does this still stand or IMDB rating obtained from OMDB gets assigned to Community Rating regardless of provider order?

By the phrasing of your statement to Luke, am I to understand that OMDB is, realistically, the IMDB ratings and scraped content?

If so, I should then move OMDB up above the TMDB in the settings, correct?

I ran a metadata update on a dozen or so titles that all were rated "10". When I checked in later, the Elvis movie above had changed to 4.6 (the IMDB rating).

The next day, it was back at the top as the best movie in my collection.  I assume that the TMDB plugin kicked in overnight.

I will adjust the setting to see how it goes.

RT and IMDB ratings are obtained from OMDB, yes.

Personally wouldn't, as that (first preferred fetcher) affects lot more things that ratings alone, I reckon you'd still be better off with TMDB as top preferred provider for movies.

It's a matter of preference but I think MovieDb is the most curated and mature source.

The movie posted above has 1 review on TMDB, a 10 (I assume from Roseanne Barr herself). IMDB has it as a 4.6.

The example below is even more confusing.

IMDB has it at 6.0

TMDB and Trakt at 5.5

Somehow Emby is reporting a 9.3

OMDB does show 9.3

I used the link in the profile to go to IMDB where it shows 6.0 for 63 votes.

Mathematically not sure how 3 votes (even 1s) would bring a movie from a 9.3 to a 6.0 but Emby is reflecting what OMDB is currently.

As for the Elvis movie...
