Sony’s PlayStation wasn’t just a console. It was the revolution that began the modern era of video games. This is the story of how its legacy began, told by two former Sony presidents; Andrew House, one of the original minds behind the PlayStation’s groundbreaking marketing who rose to CEO status; and Shawn Layden, who helped developers bring some of PlayStation's most beloved games to life for over 20 years. That won't do, NFO has to be properly formatted and contain XML tags for Emby to read them:

https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/Movies

You can create them using any text editor:

NFO files/Creating - Official Kodi Wiki

or some online tool, like this one.

Edit: @mickle026didn't you used to make a plugin for importing local txt files metadata some time in the past?

Edit2: Found it.

Yes that's the one.  I still use it regularly as it better suits my own needs.

It will do exactly what was asked as long as it's enabled in the library settings page as an importer.

If you used yt-dlp, then just use the --embed-metadata in the command line and it will automatically embed all the metadata - which emby will then pickup and automatically use ... ;)
