Genre Cleaner &amp Problem

I have Genres like Roboter & Android, Manga & Doujinshi, Schwerter & Co.

It looks for me that Genre Cleaner have a Problem with &amp from metadata Website

logs show me:

Info App: Genre 'Schwerter & Co' removed from metadata for ....
Info App: Genre 'Roboter & Android' removed from metadata for .....
Info App: Genre 'Manga & Doujinshi' removed from metadata for .....

if i want create genre "Roboter &amp Android" for mapping to "Roboter & Android", i get 2 times "Roboter & Android"

when i get metadata from anisearch it is not "Schwerter & Co" but "Schwerter & Co" and genre cleaner removes "Schwerter & Co" because it isnt "Schwerter & Co"

 

As example i have genre "Schwerter & Co" and if i create "Schwerter & Co" for mapping to "Schwerter & Co" than i have 2 times "Schwerter & Co" like in this picture.

I think that's just the genre cleaner display, but are the genres getting changed correctly in your media?

at the moment my series have as genre tag Schwerter & Co and not Schwerter & Co

i only use anisearch.de for the metadata

Can you try refreshing the metadata on the series and see if that helps?

This looks like expected behavior because the genre in your metadata is Schwerter & Co. it doesn't match Schwerter & Co and that's why it gets removed.

This is just a display problem and I'm pushing out a plugin update right now to resolve it.

it would be nice if & is replaced with & so that Genre Cleaner would not remove it.

But wouldn't you just setup a mapping for that?
