y29shi 8 Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 (edited) this is my library for all my tv shows. Right now it says there are 80 items in my library, but I remember there were nearly 130 items a few days ago. And if I go to the "folder" view, I can see that there are at 103 items in one of the folder: I didn't check one-by-one but I am very sure that these two in the red box are not shown in the "shows" view. I remember seeing them both in the "shows" view a few days ago, but today when I check it, they are gone. I can even search for them and they are shown in the main page: I also checked my filter setting and I didn't open any filter: I also tried rebooting the emby server but they are still not shown in the "shows" view. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks! Edited August 7, 2023 by y29shi
y29shi 8 Posted August 7, 2023 Author Posted August 7, 2023 Oh never mind. Can the admins remove this post? I just found out what happened. I put all the Chinese shows in a collection a few days ago and I thought the collection would show in the "collection" view, and all the shows would remain as they were in the "shows" view. But it seems that this action simply created a folder in the "shows" view and moved all the shows to there. That's why they are not shown in the "shows" view anymore. Please remove this post, thanks!

This happened because you checked the box in the three dot menu to group shows into collections.

Oh it seems to separate the same shows in different folders as well. I don't want that. I want the folders recogonized as the same shows to be together, but I want different shows in a collection only be together in the "collections" view, but separated in the "shows" view I guess I'll have to move them out of the collection then
Luke 42083 Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 If they're the same show then the server will automatically merge those into a single show. I would check your library options to ensure that it is enabled.
