aufgeblähte Daten im Installationsordner (Windows)

Hallo

Ich habe den Emby-Server auf einem Windows-PC laufen und zur Zeit bläht sich der Installationsordner ständig auf knapp 20GB auf. Eine Überprüfung mit WinDirStat ergab, dass im Ordner "...\Emby-Server\programdata\sync\..." Unterordner erstellt werden und augenscheinlich reduzierte Kopien von diversen Filmen abgelegt werden.

Ein Löschen der Unterordner bringt nicht wirklich was, da danach wieder eine Kopie angelegt wird.

Wo und wie versucht Emby da eine Synchronisation und wie kann ich es unterbinden, da die Installationsplatte natürlich nicht so üppig ausgestattet ist.

Check your Server Dashboard > Conversions

Remove the completed jobs from there and see what happens then.

Also check your 'Downloads' section in the Dashboard for similar.

Sorry für die späte Rückmeldung.

In Conversions steht nichts drin, im Download aber dafür mehr.

Wenn ich die hier aber rauslösche, sind die bei den entsprechenden Geräten dann nicht mehr verfügbar oder ist das nur eine Art "Cache"?

If you delete them then they will eventually get removed from the devices.

What I would suggest doing is try deleting the old sync folders that have really old timestamps. Those could be hanging around due to a defect in earlier server versions.

Danke für die Hilfe, das reicht mir schon als Aussage.

Im Menü ist ja auch die Möglichkeit, ein anderes Verzeichnis dafür zu bestimmen. Entsprechend ausgelagert dürfte es kein Problem mehr sein.
