Taking forever to scrape movies

Not sure why or what is going on, but Emby is taking an extremely long time to scrape files.  I recently cleaned up my files and had to remove all the drives mapped to the library.  When I added them back, Emby is taking forever to add the movies back to the library.  Its almost to the point where I have to use the "identify" function to get it to populate.  BUT even doing that, Emby just sits and spins.  Any ideas why???  Here is log file as well.embyserver (1).txt

Hi, it's scanning them as if they are new. You may see better scan performance by removing these plugins:

2023-08-03 20:55:34.495 Info App: Loading Emby.MediaInfo, Version=1.0.1.20, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/var/plugins/Emby.MediaInfo.dll
2023-08-03 20:55:34.495 Info App: Loading InfuseSync, Version=1.4.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/var/plugins/InfuseSync.dll
2023-08-03 20:55:34.495 Info App: Loading MovieThemeSongs, Version=1.7.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/var/plugins/moviethemesongs.dll

The log is filled with Emby creating the thumbnail images - that is why it is taking longer than expected as it does it sequentially.

Set it to only do this on a scheduled scan (out of hours).

To note - The MediaInfo Plugin is even not mentioned in the log - so it has no impact on any performance issues you may be having elsewhere.  I do see entries for Infuse - but I'm unaware on the performance impact this may have.

I would not worry about it - It was a surprise for me too when it first happened I though it was a bug or bad install. I would just let it work - wait a few days for it to complete. It is a one off exercise. Once complete it will be fine.

As an example - I renamed all my tv shows folders to have the tvdbid on the name - I was getting a few mismatches for some content and took the plunge to reorganise. Below is a screenshot - the thumbnail extraction will probably take days, if not weeks. It is a docker container running on a decent server, quad core AMD CPU, 32GB ram, 6 spindles 20TB raid 6 and 2x1tb mirrored R&W ssd cache.

There should also be some improvement in the upcoming 4.8 server release. Thanks.
