Hzemby 4 Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Does decoding by Intel Quick Sync count as hardware decoding? If so, does it mean only Premiere account can use Intel QuickSync decoding? I am running Emby server on my i7-4770K (yes, almost 10-year old CPU) withtout HEVC decoding. If I upgrade to a newer Intel CPU with hardware HEVC, I still gets sofware decoding unless I upgrade to Premiere, right? (I interchangably used Quick Sync and hardware HEVC support on Intel CPU, I am not exactaly sure what the relationship is between them) Thanks
