Good morning, I have tried to update the 4.7.11.0 to the 4.7.13.0 . (I am using a portable setup and run as a service).

The service did not start and got into a "paused" state.

has anyone had a same issue? thank you.

thank you!
Seems this is what happened.
emby.livetv is present...
however it has a version 4.7.11.0 and not the 4.7.13.0 for some reason

I have used the portable x64 download. thank you! I wonder maybe one file there is incorrect in the zip archive you provide?

Hi, can you try installing the 4.7.13 version again on top of itself and see if that helps?

By install I mean whichever process you normally use, e.g. portable, installer, etc.

my process is that i download the portable version and run it?
i tried again with the same result.

i can run it without being as a service, but as it seems that all dlls except this one were packaged as 4.7.13.0 version and this particular dll is 4.7.11.0  then it does not work ?
could you check the package and repack it with the correct version please?
thank you!
I am absolutely sure I have unpack the correct version.
I see now that i might try to add the assemby binding redirect to the config but i would rather have you guys fix the package please?
thank you!

I meant I have run it as a standalone app and got the same error.
i did not mean i could run it successfuly.

assembly redirect is not working for assemblies that are not strong signed :(

anyways, i have installed the "installer" on another server, extracted the Emby.Livetv.dll from there and replaced and it did work. I believe the issue was that the portable x64 package has an old DLL and I would much appreciate if that would be corrected. thank you!
update to 4.7.13 seems to be very important , seeing the latest security issue is fixed there.

The installer version and the portable version are actually the same thing. The installer basically just downloads and unzips so that you don't have to.
