Neminem 1519 Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Tbh first step is how-to-report-a-problem And then use the forum and/or knowledge base to check issue https://emby.media/support/articles/Remote-Setup.html You have provided zero useful info about your issue. And that does not help the community, help you.
elivick3031 5 Posted August 1, 2023 Author Posted August 1, 2023 I’m not sure what more I can say. Remote users are not able to connect to the server. They are receiving an error message. “ connection failure “. The Emby server is working in my home on my local network, the issue appears to be with remote users. I’ve restarted the Emby app, restarted my PC and restarted my router. Remote users still can not gain access.

Just via a browser and your IP address before it got redacted .. I've also tried from around the world using a VPN - I don't see any issues .. Make sure she is using a http://YOUR_IP:8096 - or port 8096 if she is using a non web client. Do not use https.
rbjtech 5284 Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 (edited) ok - so that's AndroidTV right ? Press and hold on the 'server' to remove it (or click 'remove') on the message - and then try again with the info below server = http://YOUR_IP (the 47.197.x.x one) Port = 8096 It should then connect ...
