Hej, how can I switch of the audio transcoding? I would like to hear the movie in 7.1 not in 5.1.

Server runs on Synology.

I also use Infuse on Apple TV - here 7.1 runs fine.

Hi, you can't. The Apple TV device does not directly support True HD.

Good morning - I found another solution: simply disable "Allow audio transcoding during media playback if necessary" and 7.1 arrives at the receiver flawlessly.

Please make sure to read the help text underneath the option. Thanks.

I'm curious about this though, can you please attach the emby server log from when you did this? Thanks.

Hey, since 7.1 content via emby (with or without transcoding) always "crashes" (you can't pause, fast forward or rewind, the time stops at 0:00...) I now use Plex - there 7.1 sound runs flawlessly. Log is in the attachment. PS: When I play 7.1 content via emby, my Devon receiver also confirms that it receives 7.1 sound.

According to the interface, 7.1 is played back, but only 5.1 arrives at the receiver...
