DGBembyconnect 1 Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 I noticed in my dashboard that Emby Server 4.7.13.0 is Available, but when I go to get the new update, it isn't there? only 4.7.14 is which is the same as the version in the Beta Downloads. I really don't want a Beta so where can I find 4.7.13. Also which version should I download? There are 3. I have an Apple M1 running Ventura 13.4.1 OS. Thanks

hstamas 179 Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 @DGBembyconnect, according to another thread that @Lukecommented on, there is no beta for OSX. The release link and the beta link further down the page are the same stable release download. Probably should get rid of that beta link on the page
DGBembyconnect 1 Posted August 8, 2023 Author Posted August 8, 2023 Hi Luke the solution was what was just posted from hstamas. Thanks 1
DGBembyconnect 1 Posted August 9, 2023 Author Posted August 9, 2023 I do have another issue after installing the latest version..... my EmbyServer Icon in my icon bar at the top no longer appears. I even reinstalled and it's gone. Any idea why? is this a known bug?
profpatel 0 Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 I have the same issue - cannot even find it as a running app when trying to force quit
hstamas 179 Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 There is no Emby icon in the Mac menu bar as of right now. To kill the server you will need to use Activity Monitor and search for "Emby..." until @Lukeadds that feature.

Force closing it can lead to database corruption so just be aware of that.

Intel or Apple Silicone version. All it seems to do is hang Emby Server forcing me to go into the activity monitor of the server and force stop anyway. Edited August 14, 2023 by hstamas 1
