Library order won't change on My Media bar on homescreen

So I go into app settings on Emby for Samsung version 1.2.6 go to home screen and change the Library order then go back to the home screen and the order doesn't change. I have even tried logging out and restarting the app to no avail.

Are you using the vertical or horizonal Home screen layout?

Hi, do they show in the expected order in the web app on the server machine?

Yes the server web app is the correct sorting.

Correction it was the correct order and I just looked again and it switched back.

I just changed it back and so far it is staying and the tv is showing the correct sorting. I'll let you know if it changes again.

Right I think I know what's going on, and unfortunately, this is likely to keep happening. Your Emby Samsung app needs a compatibility update for newer server versions, however you may not have gotten it yet.

If your Samsung is a 2019 or newer, you'll get it in the near future, but if it's any older than that, then Samsung is no longer accepting app updates for your model I'm afraid. In that scenario you can always update by installing via USB: https://emby.media/emby-for-samsung-smart-tv.html
