Changing channel for a scheduled series does not update

Don't know if this is a bug or its the way it is suppose to work.

Here is an example, that I can reproduce with any shows

Set a series record for Doctor Who on Retro TV. Programmes are scheduled to record correctly.

Go into the series and change the channel to record from to another channel, that is also broadcasting Doctor Who.

At the bottom of the series settings, it is only showing programmes on Retro (not the new channel), but they are set to not record correctly.

I have tried running a library scan

Hi, what do you mean by this?

I mean they have a grey dot, not a red dot

If you browse to the series in the guide data, does it list all the airings for both channels, or are there two different series in the guide?

That’s probably what is happening, that they’re getting different series ids in the guide data.

Sorry, had deleted that series now, and it is only being shown on retro tv

I'm probably being dumb, but not really understanding what you are saying.

Here is another example, that I just set up:

Same series (doctor who), set to record 'new episodes only' and ticked 'Don't record episodes that are already in my library' and channel is shown as Retro TV...everything is good.

I then changed the channel only, to record from BBC 1 (in preparation for the new series)..it still shows retro tv at the bottom of the screen - I would expect this to be blank now, as I have said only to record from BBC 1, and nothing is due to be broadcast on the channel in the next 2 weeks

But they have the great icon, right?

If you mean grey dot, then yes

OK this is just the way it is currently designed although I can see how that would be confusing. Probably something to reconsider.
