Hello there,

I'd like to start by congratulating you on your excellent work on Emby. Having tried a number of alternatives, I've been convinced by Emby for quite some time now.

I have spent a lot of hours on this issue and finally understood what is wrong but could not find a way to fix it properly, let's describe it and take an example.

My issue is simple : when there is a featuring with aditionnal artists, Emby doesn't want to read all the tags and stop at the first one, or it looks like it does.

First situation with that template, the result : Only Ninho is seen as an Artist in Emby.

Second situation, still Ninho is the only artist of this one, so it's not working as expected.

This is an example of manual fix that works to have 2 artists as wanted.

So my only fix is to manually editing, but I want to make it automatic. I tried to find a way to change those templates of auto-saving metadatas but can't find a way to.

Any ideas how to do that ?

Hi Luke,

I'am using 4.7.13.0 on Docker.

OK I think this should be improved in the upcoming 4.8 server release. Thanks.

Thank you for your reply.

Which template should I use while waiting?

It would seem that in terms of convention, the second one where several "Artist" tags are used would be more appropriate.

Try the Artists tag, separated by semicolons.
