Subtitles and multi version

If I have "Movie (2003) - HD.mkv" and "Movie (2003) - SD.mkv" do I need "Movie (2003) - HD.en.srt" and "Movie (2003) - SD.en.srt" or will Emby pick up "Movie (2003).en.srt" as valid for both?

Emby will pickup both...but you wont be able to select it for both. This issue with subs multi version was reported like 3+ years ago...of course it wont be fixed by luke , since he has more priority issues in changing colors on something, or redesigning seasons display for 3rd time or something.
