Lock .nfo's once created?

I run snapraid for snapshot type redundancy. It often throws errors because my data has unexpectedly changed, and it is nfo files with the file size changing, I assume this is because Emby has made a small update to the metadata contained in them. To be clear these are existing movies/shows where the nfo is changing  long after the movie/show was added.

Is there any way to set these not to change once they are created?

Write <lockdata>true</lockdata> tag.

Is there a way to not have to do it one by one? I can't see checking 1500 boxes, might take a while.

Use a text editor that can edit in multiple files to add that to each one of type nfo with a single command.
