Samsung Q70C - still no Emby app in the store 4+ month after release

I have a Q70C that I picked up in April.  The Emby app is still not available to download from the App Store.  How long does it typically take for the app to be tested and become available after a new model is released?  4 months seems like a long time.  I'm in the US.

Yep, the Q70C is a 2023 model.  All the 2023 models have a C suffix.

I am also interested as well as my parents purchased a 2023 Samsung and when setting it up for them I was surprised that Emby was not in app store. Does sideloading the app still work on these models if the app will not be available soon and is that the best course of action? Or should I grab one of the Amazon fire 4k fire sticks that are available for around 25 dollars at the moment as a stopgap?

Hi, yes it does.

We'll be putting together a new update to submit to Samsung soon, so hopefully that will get the update pushed out for you.
