Display Critic Ratings options

Perhaps I'm missing something obvious but when using emby via web i have the option, via the three dots, to choose 'Show Fields':

These options display:

Ratings are shown as expected. Although when viewing on Emby Android TV (Nvidia Shield) these ratings don't show up and when looking at display options there are not check boxes for these to be displayed. Is this by design or have i missed an option or setup somewhere?

Do you mean underneath posters in library view? If so, can't display them as such, you need to uncheck "Show labels" underneath three-dot icon along right screen edge icons row, after which you'll get item details displayed up top (including ratings).

Edit: Alternatively, you can sideload standard Android app on your Shield and have exact same display.

I see seeing advice across the forum to sideload the android mobile app instead of using the android tv version.

Does this mean the android tv version isn't being updated\supported? 

I would rather not have to sideload the android mobile app to receive expected functionality from the native app

 

It's not a game changer, just a minor difference I realised this weekend while working on some much needed spring cleaning

We are working on unifying the two apps, and once that happens the sideload app will be in the store for TV devices. So the sideloading is temporary.
