b0dyr0ck2006 57 Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Perhaps I'm missing something obvious but when using emby via web i have the option, via the three dots, to choose 'Show Fields': Quote Show Fields TitleCommunity RatingCritic RatingParental Rating These options display: Quote Ratings are shown as expected. Although when viewing on Emby Android TV (Nvidia Shield) these ratings don't show up and when looking at display options there are not check boxes for these to be displayed. Is this by design or have i missed an option or setup somewhere?

If so, can't display them as such, you need to uncheck "Show labels" underneath three-dot icon along right screen edge icons row, after which you'll get item details displayed up top (including ratings). Edit: Alternatively, you can sideload standard Android app on your Shield and have exact same display. Emby for Android - Emby Edited July 16, 2023 by GrimReaper Link
ebr 16177 Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Hi. If you sideload our standard android app on the same device it should give you those same options. https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html Thanks.
b0dyr0ck2006 57 Posted July 16, 2023 Author Posted July 16, 2023 I see seeing advice across the forum to sideload the android mobile app instead of using the android tv version. Does this mean the android tv version isn't being updated\supported? I would rather not have to sideload the android mobile app to receive expected functionality from the native app It's not a game changer, just a minor difference I realised this weekend while working on some much needed spring cleaning

So the sideloading is temporary. 1
