Fullscreen animations on 1.0.39

I just updated to 1.0.39 on my LG TV and unfortunately, there are full screen animations now?

When

- starting playback

- stopping playback (using the "back" button)

- returning from a series/movie detail page back to the home screen

 

The whole current screen gets cross-faded into the next screen by a terrible, stuttering and really unnecessary animation, which disturbs the UX and flow experience.

 

Can you please remove this toy feature? Less is sometimes more ;)
