I have reviewed the guide, and to merge identical movies, the files need to be named according to the following requirements.

/Movies
  /300 (2006)
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 1080p.mkv
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 4K.mkv

But there are other files within the folder where I store movies, and it would be inconvenient to put different versions of the same movie in one folder. Can emby add a feature to merge folders based on similar folder names? As shown below.

/Movies
  /300 (2006)
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 1080p/movies.mkv
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 4K/movies.mkv

Thanks!

I have tried this plugin, and I'm not sure if my version is correct because it didn't merge the same movies after installation.

Ok. I haven't tried it myself to be honest. I don't have multi versions of movies. I thought it could help.

Maybe post a question in the "Automatic version grouping for movies" thread, I'm sure someone will help you out! :)

Give them some info like.. server version etc..
