release 4.7.13.0 metadata issues

I might be late to the party, but I just updated to v 4.7.13.0.

I am not sure what happened but immediately all my users disappeared (except for a couple that I created years ago), and all the metadata was cleared out, 

no more "continue watching", latest content lists are back to day 0. and everything is missing its metadata.

The library is now re-scanning.

I used server backup to restore from this mornings backup, and that only seems to have restored my users, all their played history and other metadata is gone!

All my custom collections are also gone.

 

So, I'm starting from scratch again, that's not ideal! I can rebuild the server no drama, but personal metadata is the only thing that I cant restore.
Man I dread installing updates for this system. 

Did any one else experience this?

I would wait and see what left when the scan is done.

Hope fully watched status and more is fixed after that.

No my server updated without any of those problems.. which sound bad!!

From the thread you listed this under I guess you run your server in windows?

I run my server in Linux (OMV) in a docker container but that shouldn't make a difference..

I feel your pain! Hopefully someone will have a explanation, looks like it's too late though as you are starting from scratch again..
