Dave071266 1 Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 Hi I have emby server on a diskstation and no problems at all adding folders to share from that. I have another diskstation on the same network with a folder I want to add to an emby library on the diskstation running the sever.
Luke 42077 Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 Hi, what have you done so far? Is the folder you want to import shared over the network?
Dave071266 1 Posted July 13, 2023 Author Posted July 13, 2023 For example a share on the server NAS looks like: /volume1/video/HD1 nfs://10.1.0.2/volume1/video/HD1/ now the path on diskstation 2 that I want to use for a libray on diskstaion 1 would be something like: /volume1/music/MP3 nfs://10.1.0.3/volume1/music/MP3/ but I can't browse to it as it only shows shares on DS 1 so Ive tried to enter it manually like above. Hope that helps you help me.
Luke 42077 Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 Try mounting the network share folder to a local folder on the server machine. Then once you have it as a local folder path, then you can import that path into Emby Server.
Dave071266 1 Posted July 13, 2023 Author Posted July 13, 2023 Thanks for reply. I have no idea how to do that
