Help! Want to add a library and the share is on a seperate diskstation

Hi

I have emby server on a diskstation and no problems at all adding folders to share from that. I have another diskstation on the same network with a folder I want to add to an emby library on the diskstation running the sever.

Hi, what have you done so far? Is the folder you want to import shared over the network?

For example a share on the server NAS looks like:

/volume1/video/HD1

nfs://10.1.0.2/volume1/video/HD1/

 

now the path on diskstation 2 that I want to use for a libray on diskstaion 1 would be something like:

 

/volume1/music/MP3

nfs://10.1.0.3/volume1/music/MP3/

 

but I can't browse to it as it only shows shares on DS 1 so Ive tried to enter it manually like above.

Try mounting the network share folder to a local folder on the server machine. Then once you have it as a local folder path, then you can import that path into Emby Server.

I don't know how I missed that tools section in File Station. All working now. Thank You
