MBSki 1114 Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 I have to constantly restart the server or turn DLNA on and off to get it to show up. And, the blast interval is gone. I used to set it really low because of this issue. Can we please get the blast interval back?
Luke 42077 Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 HI, why do you think it's dropping? the periodic blast is still there.
MBSki 1114 Posted July 13, 2023 Author Posted July 13, 2023 Because it's not available in the list of servers to select. I don't see any option to change the blast interval. I looked under Devices\DLNA
Luke 42077 Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 It still happens. It just can't be turned off anymore.

All I know is that it didn't happen before when I had the blast interval set to 10. Can you at least tell me where to find the blast interval? Is it in a config file?
Luke 42077 Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 It’s not configurable and it’s even less than that now anyway. How to Report a Problem
MBSki 1114 Posted July 13, 2023 Author Posted July 13, 2023 Ok, thanks. So, it's something else. None of that data would be in the logs though would it? Do I need to turn on debug logging or something?
Luke 42077 Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 Unfortunately I don’t think the server log will tell us much but it’s our only source of information. Most likely the problem is on the device but I’m guessing it provides no way to find out why it’s dropping.
MBSki 1114 Posted July 13, 2023 Author Posted July 13, 2023 Don't think it's the device as ALL devices on the network are showing the same thing.
MBSki 1114 Posted August 17, 2023 Author Posted August 17, 2023 @Luke I'm still having problems with this. Should I enable DLNA debug logging? I'm not sure what's going on, but if I restart Emby it shows up again on DLNA. Don't know why I would have to restart though to get it to work again.

I wouldn't enable that permanently as it can degrade performance, but yes it might help. 1
MBSki 1114 Posted December 28, 2023 Author Posted December 28, 2023 Yes, it still happens on stable as of a few days ago. I haven't attempted a verbose log yet.
