bjhille 3 Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 I have a show I'm trying to tag in Emby, but when I use the Identify feature Emby says it can't find anything. I'm trying to load "Gabriel Iglesias - Aloha Fluffy - Part 1" (tt2837380) and "Gabriel Iglesias - Aloha Fluffy - Part 2" (tt2837384). I can find the shows on IMDB (that's how I got the tt numbers). Since Emby can't find the shows I click on the 3 dots and say "Identify". I use the above tt numbers and it can't find anything. I've tried loading the show as a TV Show and a Movie, but neither work. Any ideas? Thanks. Brian
Luke 42083 Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 Hi, what series metadata providers are enabled on the library, and in what order? For whatever one is listed first, try using their id in the Identify dialog and see if that helps.
GrimReaper 4749 Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 (edited) TMDB (Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy (2013) — The Movie Database (TMDB)) and TVDB (Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy - TheTVDB.com) list that item as a movie. Only OMDB list is as a show with very limited info: Quote {"Title":"Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy","Year":"2013–","Rated":"TV-14","Released":"07 Apr 2013","Runtime":"60 min","Genre":"Comedy","Director":"N/A","Writer":"N/A","Actors":"Gabriel Iglesias, Martin Moreno, G. Reilly","Plot":"In front of an adoring crowd in Honolulu, comedian Gabriel Iglesias relates tales from his childhood and career, and even uses some local slang.","Language":"English","Country":"United States","Awards":"N/A","Poster":"https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BNTI1MjA4MTQ0MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNzg5NzA2MDE@._V1_SX300.jpg","Ratings":[{"Source":"Internet Movie Database","Value":"8.0/10"}],"Metascore":"N/A","imdbRating":"8.0","imdbVotes":"1,786","imdbID":"tt2828960","Type":"series","totalSeasons":"1","Response":"True"} Best way would be to add that as a multi-part movie in Movie type or Mixed-content type library, following split video files naming convention: https://emby.media/support/articles/Movie-Naming.html#split-video-files-file-stacking Edited July 4, 2023 by GrimReaper
bjhille 3 Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 Luke, For the Metadata Downloaders, I only have "TheMovieDB" selected. Here is what I find interesting...using the Identify screen (attached)...if I use "185440" in the "TheMovieDB ID" it works. If I try to populate the IMDB ID (this is what I have always used), using "tt2837380" or "tt2837384" it doesn't work. When I looked at the Metadata providers, I don't even seen IMDB. I really don't want to load it as two-part media because it really isn't two parts...seems like there were two seperate and self-contained shows. So, I'm trying to make it reflect like it does in IMDB. Thanks. Brian
visproduction 316 Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 (edited) Imdb: Part 1only has a poster and no images. Part 2 has no images at all. I would expect no images to appear when none are listed in imdb. I think the lookup is working correctly. Edited July 5, 2023 by visproduction
