fallen 0 Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Hey all, @Carlo Been trying to set up external access to my Emby server for friends and have been running into a bit of a wall. For context, I have an AT&T BGW320-505 plugged into a TP-Link AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Router for my general use. I'm on ethernet on my device and have set up port forwarding systems on both the TP-Link router, AT&T router and I've even called up AT&T to port forward on their end if it made a difference. I've added the inbound rules for port 8096 on my firewall for both tcp and udp, I've checked that none of my antivirus programs like Malwarebytes is affecting it and even turned on UPnP on my TP-Link. I followed the connection guide on Emby's site here, yet I still cannot see the port on sites like canyouseeme. I've gotten 8096 to show up in my netstat reports as listening but to no avail. Is there anything that I may have missed in setting this up? Or any easy way to see where in the process the port might be getting caught? I've read through a lot of other discussions on the forum about people's problems and have tried as many of the troubleshooting solutions as I can. Using Windows 10 (Build 19045), and as mentioned, I'm on ethernet if that would change anything. Also tried to include as much information as I could think of here to hopefully make it easier to understand everything. Yeah, thanks again.

fallen 0 Posted July 20, 2023 Author Posted July 20, 2023 Still having a problem. Unfortunately was not able to get it fixed.
Luke 42083 Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 What else did you try? Does your isp allow use of these ports?
