I have a QNAP NAS and it has emby installed. I already have the ports forwarded so that its accessible via WAN address, i already have a domain on godaddy for it, i just cant figure out how to get this forwarded to my domain. Also, when i update the app on QNAP, it wants me to delete the app and reinstall, will that mess up my config and if so, any tips on what i should do for updates?

Hi, do you mean how to point your godaddy domain to your ip address?

Should be OK, but can you show a screenshot of this? Thanks.

Go into DNS management for your domain, create an A record and add your IP address for it.

If you want a sub-domain, create a CNAME record and add your hostname, then the domain+period.
