After uinstalling Emby again, I can't start the service on Linux/arch

It's to prevent your host from reaching the CC/collector for the malware/botware installed by the hack. It shouldn't matter much by now that domain is dead but it doesn't hurt either. You can remove it after you get things back to normal.

In the end it might be safer and cleaner to blow it all away and start from scratch.

Tonight I backed up everything pre-update, since I enacted the security measures in that article. And now after updating, it works fine! Thank you all for your help. And @Lukethat was the first notice I've seen about that vulnerability linked by Q-Droid. Is there an email list I can get on for those notices specifically?
