Emby not showing thumbnails on Android Home TV

happened a week ago after something was updated on TV, any idea what it could be. Restarted server, TV and such, cleared cache... when opening Emby app on TV everything looks ok

Yeah that wierd, my emby suggestions widget is working (has images) and will play emby content.

Your Android TV home screen looks different to mine, not sure what's the go with that?

What TV/device do you have ATV running on?

Have you tried removing emby from the home screen and then add it back again?

Sorry just thinking of possible things that could make a difference.

It's a pretty much standard Android TV Home launcher on TCL unit. I just dodged the bullet and uninstalled Emby, purged everything, installed it again and it works now. Maybe it's because i didn't update home launcher to the latest (don't want to see the ads, Google pushing now)

Yep I get that! I'm not a fan of the google adds. Just got use to them I guess.

Glad you sorted it out! The new home launcher is much better even with there crappy adds.. (I just ignore them.. )

yes, agree, but ads are very annoying, i am sure people are working on blockers already
