Ladiesman0217 14 Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 The title explains the issue. I have a show Star Trek Deep Space 9 and for each episode, the subtitle search is giving me subtitles for the next episode. I've checked the metadata and the info is correct for each episode. Is there something I can do to fix this? I can provide logs if needed but I was curious if this was a known issue with a solution. thanks!
ebr 16187 Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Hi. Have you checked directly on the subtitle site to see if they just have the wrong data?
Ladiesman0217 14 Posted June 8, 2023 Author Posted June 8, 2023 What's the subtitle site that I need to go check? The issue happening is that i.e. when I am in episode S01E02 it returns subtitles for S01E03.

Ladiesman0217 14 Posted June 8, 2023 Author Posted June 8, 2023 Thanks. I took a look and realized that the episode numbering is off in my library because the first episode for some reason is labeled as 2 episodes. Not sure why it imported that way but now I at least know how to fix it. thanks! Here's what the first episode is named Star Trek - Deep Space Nine - S01E01-02 - Emissary HDTV-720p.mkv

S01E01-02
Ladiesman0217 14 Posted June 14, 2023 Author Posted June 14, 2023 (edited) It absolutely does and that's how I figured out the subtitles were off. Emby was thinking episode 3 was episode 2 because episode 1 and 2 were episode 1. I can provide logs if you think this is an Emby issue but I think it was a ME issue. The detection is independent and not based on other episodes. Why do you think episode 3 was detected as episode 2? What is the file name?
