Direct entry of channel number for Live TV/EPG

I am trying out Emby so am new to it but managed to get the live TV going and all my libraries imported quite easily.  I've searched for this a lot, so sorry if I'm asking a question I should have found the answer to.  I was wondering if there was anyway to enter a channel number directly while watching live TV or viewing the guide?  I don't see anything like that listed for the keyboard controls, which I can map my MCE remote to, but I just assumed that would be a pretty basic thing.  Maybe nobody does this anymore.  Thanks!!

Hi and welcome!

I don't have experience with the MCE remote, but I use a Harmony 650 with Emby and an Nvidia Shield and the channel numbers do work. When I enter a number while watching a Live TV show, it brings up the mini-guide at that channel and all I have to do is press Ok and it tunes to the channel.

Thanks so much for letting me know that!  I had not even tried the android app yet.  I was going to though as i have a few older android boxes on the other TVs around the house.  Sure enough, it works great on those with the numbers on the remote!  I have a Windows HTPC for the main TV and I don't think for whatever reason it was ever put on the Windows app to allow for that.  It just doesn't do anything when typing in a channel unlike the Android TV app.
