diegoesp 1 Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Hi everyone! i'm planning to get a Wd My Cloud Ex2 for streaming emby content. Has anyone streamed 4k content to a tv? has the Wd My Cloud Ex2 enough power to stream 4k video?
Solution Luke 42077 Posted May 29, 2023 Solution Posted May 29, 2023 Hi, if you can make sure that you're always direct playing, then I think you'll be fine, but as soon as any transcoding is required for 4K content, this NAS will be underpowered for that. HI, the stats feature in the video player will indicate if it's direct playing or transcoding, as will the server dashboard. 1
