Subtitles format

Just after people's opinions on this one really.

Which subtitle format is best (you use) on Emby, SRT or VTT?

SRT is the commonest and most basic.  I may be wrong, but I have a feeling that when Emby extracts subs to send separately, it encodes them in VTT; at any case, I'm sure VTT is handled fine as well.
