How to Disable Media Scanning via Config Files?

Hello

I hope someone can help me please. I suffered some data loss on the main storage drive where my media libraries are stored.

I immediately stopped and disabled the emby service on my Debian server.

I'm currently restoring a (slightly out of date) backup, however, before I re-enable and start the emby service, I want to completely disable all media library scanning so that titles remain in the internal database - which will hopefully allow me to identify what is missing.

How do I do this without starting emby? Can it be done from a config file?

Many Thanks
Stephen

You can disable RTM per-library by setting <EnableRealtimeMonitor> tag to "false" in options.xml for each library folder in install-dir\programdata\root\default.

As for Scan media library scheduled task, you'd need to know (or guess) which of the cryptic tasks in install-dir\programdata\config\ScheduledTasks is it - or simply delete all triggers from all tasks and reconfigure later upon server start.
