thetvdb Artwork Issue

This likely has to do with some changes at thetvdb but when you change the sort order of the episodes  (IE: Season, Aired, DVD) is there a change in where Emby looks for artwork?

I just noticed that Futurama, which has 7 seasons, has 8 dvd's, and Emby is looking at Seasons instead of DVD's for the artwork, so it had to be manually pointed to season 8 dvd location to find the cover art.

I believe this is a change at thetvdb as they used to have a "pool" of artwork for Seasons, DVD's, and Aired.

Hi, actually it does look like our tvdb season image provider is hardcoded for aired order so we'll have to take a look at that. Thanks.

Awesome, thanks very much.  It's a recent change on their end - and a good one for matching accuracy.  Took me a bit to figure out what was going on.
