Alexa Voice Remote Pro

I got the Alexa Voice Remote Pro so I can set the programmable button to Emby. Unfortunately only the App Store version of Emby can be selected, not the sideloaded Android (mobile) App. Is there a roadmap to when the standard android app might be available to Fire TV devices without sideloading?

I apologize but we cannot provide an estimate.  Unfortunately, Amazon is being extremely difficult with us.

Thanks for the response. Just out of curiosity, does Amazon know what I'm watching when running Emby? And is there any difference in spying mechanisms between Fire TV and Google TV devices? I'm not paranoid, I swear, I just thought this tinfoil hat was cute.

I don't know the answer to those questions but it is definitely possible.
