iOS Unlock app to play content

I have purchased unlock app to watch content on my Apple TV, when I switch to a Sony TV it was asking me to unlock the app again. Do I need to purchase from both iOS and android? How do they know it is under the same account?

One-time app unlocks are just that, they unlock one app only and are tied to that app (linked to store account). You are free to use that app against any Emby server you like to unlock full playback functionality.

Assuming you are running your own Emby Server, have more devices you'd like to use and think you'd benefit from Emby Premiere features, you can alternatively pay for an Emby Premiere subscription (ongoing or lifetime) which will unlock ALL client apps that you connect to your server now and in the future.

How do you unlock the app on Apple TV? If I use my iphone only my iphone Emby app is unlocked not my Emby Apple TV app even though it's the same Apple ID. When I try unlocking on Apple TV it's telling me it's already purchased. I'm in a loop.

HI, at what point are you being asked to purchase in Emby for Apple TV?
