Bluenile 1 Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Hello, I just installed Emby server on Google cloud and added 10 videos but it is taking almost more than 10 seconds to load. It is installed on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with 100 GB disc space and e2 medium (2vCPU, 4 GB memory). The Emby server I hosted from my PC takes less than a second to load but not sure why the one installed at Google cloud running too slow. Do I need more CPU and memory size or something else? Thank you.
Luke 42078 Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when you thought it was slow. How to Report a Problem Thanks.

Hello, Here are some of the logs: http://35.184.239.191:8096/emby/System/Logs/ffmpeg-directstream-6348ac09-e90a-4e18-9599-e357d9b7ddb3_1.txt?api_key=4d682015fd9440869a31b8a84f49acc0 http://35.184.239.191:8096/emby/System/Logs/ffmpeg-directstream-30461c5a-479c-4a76-b1df-bf4a4c951ab7_1.txt?api_key=4d682015fd9440869a31b8a84f49acc0 http://35.184.239.191:8096/emby/System/Logs/ffmpeg-transcode-da45c6b0-0c04-44b5-9706-5aee50bcda1f_1.txt?api_key=4d682015fd9440869a31b8a84f49acc0 http://35.184.239.191:8096/emby/System/Logs/ffmpeg-transcode-da45c6b0-0c04-44b5-9706-5aee50bcda1f_1.txt?api_key=4d682015fd9440869a31b8a84f49acc0 http://35.184.239.191:8096/emby/System/Logs/ffmpeg-transcode-a63c29f2-a9cd-4f4d-b10e-0e27a35e1e88_1.txt?api_key=4d682015fd9440869a31b8a84f49acc0 http://35.184.239.191:8096/emby/System/Logs/ffmpeg-directstream-533d9271-5ebb-4360-bc18-df27c8086892_1.txt?api_key=4d682015fd9440869a31b8a84f49acc0 One more important thing I forgot to ask is that when I access Emby server hosted at my PC it takes me to the login page where I can choose a user but when I access Emby hosted at Google cloud it directly takes me to the login page where it asks for username & password. I want put multiple users on the login page so users can choose the designated name and log in. As you can see on the screenshots below the login url paths I marked in red are showing different. How can I change the url path from /startup/manuallogin.html to /startup/login.html please? Thank you Edited May 13, 2023 by Bluenile

Luke 42078 Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 @BluenileDid you disable the server transcoding option to allow subtitle extraction on the fly? Try rechecking that option and see how things compare.
