Can't add new content

I see others have a similar problem, but I'm not really good with computers and I haven't been able to make heads nor tails of it.

Emby is running on a Synology DS3617xs with DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 5

The Problem started when I upgraded Emby from 4.7.8 to 4.7.11

 

When I add new .mkv files to the server, the server does not see the .mkv files. The folder with the name shows up, it grabs the meta data for the show. TV shows in folder 'Season 01' don't get added. It says the folder is empty.

 

I have uninstalled Emby 4.7.11 and reinstalled Emby 4.7.8 the problem has not gone away.

I've compared the folders permissions with ones that work and they appear to be the same.

 

Any help with this would be appreciated.

@Scarthinare you still having an issue with this? Have you taken a look at this to help with setting permissions properly?

Nope. I completely uninstalled emby.

Can you try with the instructions provided above?

I did. It didn't do anything. Which is why I have completely removed it from my system.
