Luke 42077 Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 Can one of you provide a sample video for testing just so that i can ensure I'm looking at the exact same thing? Thanks.
BrandonYoung 12 Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 I made a screen recording on my Chromebook In the recording you can see the letterbox bars are gray. When I minimize and restore the emby app window, the bars turn white. Screen recording 2024-02-11 3.07.21 PM.webm
Luke 42077 Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Can you provide an actual video that we can test playing with? Thanks.
GLant80 8 Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 @LukeI sent you a link with an example video file that's producing the grey bars for me 1
BrandonYoung 12 Posted February 18, 2024 Author Posted February 18, 2024 @Luke Here is an example file. The Letterbox shading issue seems to happen with any file format, but this one is AV1, and that format is the only one I have that fits the max file size for this forum. The AV1 video playback error referenced in my other thread is also still happening. Macross - S01E01.mkv 1
Luke 42077 Posted February 14, 2025 Posted February 14, 2025 Hi, are you still able to reproduce this?
BrandonYoung 12 Posted February 14, 2025 Author Posted February 14, 2025 The bars to the left and right appear to be darker than they were before, minimizing and maximizing the application turns the bars white. emby for Android version 3.4.36 emby server 4.8.10.0 on Linux Mint. Here is an example of what shows when I play a video. after minimize and maximizing the window, the bars are white. as seen below. 1
