Hello,

I'm wondering if it's possible to enter letters when adding seasons in the Emby Server database. It seems that the GUI blocks the use of letters.

Can you please confirm if entering letters is not allowed in the GUI? And is it possible to enter letters directly in the database row, or is it restricted to numbers only?

Thank you for your help.

Hi, no, season numbers are numeric values only, but you can always edit the season name in case that might help.

Hi, That does not really help
As you can see on the pictures I have 4 different seasons / extras but in each season is always the same 7 episodes displayed so 4 extras with the 7 same content. If I write Nummer so in each season starting at 0 to 3 it is then incorrectly tracked because it is assumed that it is the episodes in the season. However, it is exclusively bonus content that I want to have displayed separately from each other. What I still tried if you can set 0 and then for the next bonus content 00 and 000 and 0000 but unfortunately only a number is allowed as input. Means if then everything is summarized under an Extra, Speical. I can not make multiple extras in one series.

Hi.  What are you really trying to accomplish?  You can have multiple specials.  Just assign them season 0.

No thats not work
See Picture. Then it makes every Special to the same Bonus folder.

Correct, you can only have one "Specials" folder but, again, I ask, what are you really trying to accomplish?  You can have specials display wherever you wish in the episode list by adjusting the "Airs Before" and "Airs After" values.

or we take anilist

https://anilist.co/anime/6793/Kuroshitsuji-Sono-Shitsuji-Kougyou/

https://anilist.co/anime/9136/Kuroshitsuji-II-OVA/

I want for the extras belonging together a separate image and description just like anisearch or anilist see links as an example.

I know that this can not be crawled. However, it is not even possible for me to enter that by hand.

It would be ideal if you could enter a number and also a letter in the relay.

So for example B1 --> https://anilist.co/anime/9136/Kuroshitsuji-II-OVA/
B1 and for the episodes then B1 episode 1
B1 episode 2
then B2 --> https://anilist.co/anime/6793/Kuroshitsuji-Sono-Shitsuji-Kougyou/
B2 episode 1
B2 episode 2
etc

The system will then see that within the main folder
a folder which is tagged with B1 in emby and all episodes which are tagged with B1 as episode in emby will be shown in this season B1.

So you can add your own pictures and description.

I would assume that season numbers will remain numeric as there are just too many places that utilize them in that way.

It sounds like maybe what you are after is something like:

Yes exactly, that's what I mean. The post is from 2018
So far, this has not been implemented.
This will probably never be programmed in either?
