My tv shows section was getting pretty over whelming so i decided to break it down into 3 sections, two new areas holding 'archives (pre 2000's)', and 'kids/animation'.

the folders are showing up on emby but no matter how many times I run 'scan library files' or 'refresh metadata' it will never load the posters or any info. reset emby multiple times. reset the server multiple times. its been more than 24 hours. Still nothing.

Hi there, do you have libraries overlapping with the same folders? This might be your issue.

How many libraries have you created, and what folder paths did you add to each one?

As far as i know there is no overlap. I currently have 5 libraries, each with its own source folder within my media folder.

Oh yes sorry forgot that one. The name in emby is Kids/Animation, but the folder is just kids:

what library type you used, what are the enabled meta-providers and how are your files named and organized?

All three are specifically set for tv shows.

All three have all meta sources turned on.

All files have been renamed using sonarr to have properly readable titles with premiere year in parentheses.

Strange. I would try running a library scan, and then when that completes please attach the emby server log:

Thanks.
