Hi.

I have a tvshow (dragonball z kai) and there are 2 episodes from season 5, which are displayed in season 5 (which is correct) AND season 2?

I already re-scraped the whole library, but nothing changed. What can I do?

How are your files named and organized?

I think everything is fine. Thats the only problem I have in my tv show library.

That's really odd. What does Edit Metadata dialog show for those 2 Season 5 episodes that are incorrectly shown in Season 2, Season number and Episode number fields and in particular External IDs compared to 2 correct Season 2 episodes? And the path atop same dialog?

Oh, that show is a mess, wouldn't be surprised if TVDB API went bonkers.

Seeing you have season 5, do you have seasons 6 and 7 also or season 6 only, i.e. does your structure follow TVDB DVD Order or TMDB Aired order (as TVDB Aired orders lists 2 seasons only)?

Yes, this tv show is tricky.

In my library I set everything to themoviedb as my first scraper. This works best for all my tv shows and movies. I even get posters in my local language (german). It works for DB Z Kai, too. I renamed everything to 6 seasons and get the correct descriptions and titles.

And FINALLY IT WORKS 🤩

Thank you very much!

Solution: I looked in the metadata manager and saw the that the number fields for season and episode are correct. BUT there was a difference in the field for the external IDs!

Every other episode has an id set for thetvdb only. And those 2 faulty episodes have additionally set an id for imdb? I dont know why, but I just deleted the id for imdb and everything is fine!

Btw: Why is there no field for themoviedb?
