Artwork downloading

Just a question really. How does Emby find artwork on TVDB? for an example, i am using Danger Mouse and in my library settings I have TVDB set as enabled for all artwork downloads, and yet it fails to find any that are available when viewing the site?

For example.

on TVDB we have these images (1 i just added)

 

and yes, when searching in emby, i get no images from TVDB?

TVDB does work, but, it misses a lot of covers and artwork for some reason?

ie. This series misses some that are there, but shows most.

perhaps it's just my meta causing an issue? I more wanted to confirm that all is ok generally.

Have you checked on TVDB that those images that don't show have language as per your library setting (I'd assume English as per your screenshot), as opposed to the ones that do show and that must have language assigned?

yeah, I have.

 

I more wondered how stringent the matching is? does it use the id only, or will it fall back to the series/episode and year

It seems like there might be something wrong with their api data for that series. The web page is showing posters for season 2, but they're not in the api data for the series.
